Philosophy

We believe all people come in different shapes and sizes, and should not be discriminated against in their choice of clothing.

We believe every woman has the right to feel beautiful, which comes from quality made and well fitting clothes that reflect the woman's personality and style.

We believe, regardless of cultural background or wealth status, every woman should have access to beautiful clothes.

At HKD we offer the opportunity for women to achieve this-either by making the clothes themselves with made to measure patterns, or by learning to sew in our studio, or to have them tailor-made by professional dressmakers.

We believe individual, personal service is vital and offer this in a warm, friendly environment.

We believe that quality pays, and so use the best products available.

We believe that those less fortunate than us also have the right to feel beautiful, so therefore a portion of all income is used to make clothing for the poor.
